OXIS Energy (OXIS) has been at the forefront of building Next Generation Battery since 2004. The company has developed its unique technology around sulfur based cathode materials, highly stable electrolyte systems and anode made of Lithium metal and intercalation materials.

OXIS are based on the Culham Science Centre in Oxfordshire where the original Lithium-Ion batteries were first developed and prototyped. We have well equipped laboratories with state of the art equipment and large dry room facilities.

OXIS has links with Russian Academy of Sciences, Ufa Institute of Organic Chemistry specializing in sulfur chemistry and electrochemistry, as well as with Material Science Departments of both Oxford and Cambridge Universities. OXIS has joint collaboration agreement for the development of new electrode materials.
